U.S., Minnesota flags ordered at half-staff Thursday

ST. PAUL, MN — All state and American flags have been ordered to fly at half-staff in Minnesota on Thursday to honor a fallen Red Lake Conservation Officer.

Officer Shannon Barron died earlier this week from a medical emergency shortly after responding to a call.

Governor Tim Walz made the order today, which applies to flags at state and federal buildings.

The flags are ordered to fly at half-staff from sunrise to sunset.
