Petition circulating to disallow cuts to physical education classes in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, MN– The Grand Rapids School District is considering making cuts to their physical education, music and media curriculum.

The school board will meet Monday, June 10 at 7 p.m. to discuss changing to a three day rotation.

The rotation would limit students to three days of physical education a week.

A petition is being circulated around social media against this change.

The petition will be presented to the school board at tonight’s meeting.
