CULVER, MN– St. Louis County Sheriff’s officials say they recovered a shotgun nearby a Culver school and church that were shot at in mid-October.
According to sheriff’s officials, bullet holes were discovered in a South Ridge School window and on the siding, sign, and windows on the Faith Lutheran Church, which are just a few miles from each other.
Authorities say they found the shotgun in the woods, but have not confirmed if it’s the same weapon that damaged the buildings.
The shotgun is going through e-tracing, while authorities are also DNA testing the shotgun shells found at the scenes.
Authorities say they don’t have any suspects as of Thursday afternoon, but the public is not in any danger.
The investigation is ongoing.
