HIBBING, MN — The suspect in Hibbing’s Christmas day homicide appeared in court Friday.
Jerome Spann, 29, is charged with murder and assault for allegedly shooting Jeryel McBeth, 34, to death and injuring Jamien Stukey.
Spann was arrested in St. Paul several days later.
On Friday, Spann was assigned a public defender and remains in St. Louis County Jail on a $500,000 bail.
He’s due back in court later this month.
