UPDATE: Suspect arrested following Superior hit-and-run

SUPERIOR, WI– A suspect is in custody following a hit-and-run in Superior on Friday.

The Superior Police Department received information Friday at 11 p.m. which led to the arrest of an adult female suspect.

The incident is still being investigated.

SUPERIOR, WI– Police say an 11-year-old boy is recovering after being hit on his bike during a hit-and-run today.

Officers were called to the intersection of Hammond Avenue and North twelfth street just before three in Superior.

When they arrived, the suspected vehicle had left which witnesses described as a maroon or red SUV and was driven by a woman.
