U.S Rep. Pete Stauber was a guest speakers at a memorial day service in Hermantown Monday morning.
Stauber reflected by telling a harrowing story of one of our nation’s veterans.
He also honored the legacy of all the United States men and women who fought for our freedom.
“The goal that we strive for, the goal that these men and women fought and died for, is called freedom. As long as we have brave men and women who are willing to fight for our freedom, America will continue to be the shining city on the hill,” Stauber says.
Stauber also has personal ties to the Military. His wife Jody was deployed to Iraq as a high-ranking officer with the 148th.
