Wisconsin Senator Tammy Baldwin is working to get rural communities internet access.

Senator Baldwin says the access rural america act encourages the investment of high-speed internet and expanding access to broadband in rural Wisconsin communities.

Baldwin says, the lack of access is holding families, and companies back.

“What it shows us is that having access to high speed internet these days is the difference between seeing small businesses flourish in rural Wisconsin, or not,” Wisconsin Senator, Tammy Baldwin says.

Baldwin goes on to say, this is just the first step in many to get seven-hundred thousand Wisconsin households broadband internet access.

The proposal has bipartisan support.
