Wisconsin’s Chris Kroeze Advances to top 8 on The Voice

BARRON, WI — Wisconsin’s new celebrity, Chris Kroeze, once again won over the judges and America to advance to the Top 8 on NBC’s The Voice and will compete next on December 10.

Next week the field will be cut to 4 leading into the Season Finale the week of December 17.

Kroeze captivated the crowd on Monday night with his unique rendition of the Garth Brooks hit song “Callin Baton Rouge”.

His coach Blake Shelton again was amazed by Chris. “America is falling in love with Chris,” said Shelton. “He’s been the dark horse and now that we’re getting close to the finale, people are realizing that this guy is a serious threat to everyone in the competition.”

This week The Voice featured well known songs by all the contestants and landed 8 of the songs performed, including Chris’, in the top 100 of iTunes.

Voting via The Voice App, NBC.com and Xfinity website in addition to number of times songs are streamed on Apple Music determine who advanced this week.

Chris was the top streaming artist this week.

“The support from Wisconsin, the Twin Cities and all of the upper Midwest is incredible,” said Kroeze following the Tuesday’s results show. “It’s amazing to be able to share this experience with so many people.”
