DULUTH, MN — Large all-inclusive renovations will be coming for Marshall School’s arts education!
Big changes are underway at Duluth’s Marshall School.
This summer, Marshall School aims to invest in its arts education with all-inclusive renovations of its arts and music classrooms and studio spaces.
The renovation will include upper and middle school arts studios.. classrooms for band, choir, and strings, and flexible spaces for theater classes. They’ll also include a recording studio, a digital studio, and a ceramics studio.
Nearly 90-percent of Marshall’s students participate in fine arts on a daily basis. School officials say the investment in the arts is supported by both students.. and the Duluth community.
“Duluth is a city that loves the arts.. and once we announced this problem, there was quite a bit of.. excitement generated by the patrons of the art in this community, because they want to see that continue to thrive. It was really exciting to share this project,” said Kevin Breen, Head of Marshall School.
Renovations are scheduled to begin in June and conclude when classes resume in the fall.
