Superior, WI — Students and alumni attended the Head of the Lakes Job and Internship Fair at UW-Superior today.
Northlanders from across the region got a chance to weigh their future career options at UW-Superior today.
The Head of the Lakes Job and Internship Fair hosted nearly 90 employers from around the Twin Ports and beyond. It’s a partnership between UWS, the College of Saint Scholastica, and UMD.
The fair gives students, alumni, and the rest of the community the chance to make connections, learn about jobs and internships in the area, and gain experience presenting themselves professionally to potential employers.
“I think it’s really benefited me. From the early stages, I’ve learned how to communicate and present myself in a professional manner. I’ve also throughout the years had a lot of great personal interactions with the employers. And I have a great rapport with many of them. So, it’s just made me more comfortable as a young professional,” stated UWS senior, Liza Shelquist.
The next Head of the Lakes Job and Internship will be held in the fall at UMD.
