Classic ‘Christmas City’ tune gets a remix for a good cause

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Throughout the past six decades the Christmas City of the North Parade has largely stuck to tradition with some slight changes here and there.

The song was originally made famous by Merv Griffin.

A project to remake this song has been in the works for the last year now.

Laura Velvet and the Bookhouse Boys: a Duluth band has been looking to pay tribute to their city by remaking the classic Christmas City song.

You’ll be able to catch their remix this Friday at the Christmas City of the North Parade.

It’s also a highlight as the last song in the ‘Christmas by the Lake’ C-D.

All proceeds from the C-D will go to the Bluebird foundation.
