Duluth home damaged in fire, no injuries

DULUTH, MN– A Duluth home is damaged, but no one injured after a basement fire.

Firefighters responded just before 10 Tuesday morning to a report of a structure fire along Redwing Street in Duluth’s Woodland neighborhood.

Crews were able to contain the flames in the basement area and attacked the fire through the attached garage.

The home was occupied by the homeowner, and two young children that were able to get out safely.

A cause is unknown at this time, and the fire is under investigation.
