Minnesota sees highest COVID numbers in a single day since last December

MINNESOTA/ WISCONSIN– COVID cases continue to rise in Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The state reported almost 4,000 new cases of COVID-19.

That’s the new cases in a single day since last December.

St. Louis County reported 161 new cases, Itasca County reported 59, and Carlton County reported 24.

Lake and Cook Counties both reported cases in the single digits.

Another 40 deaths were also reported making Tuesday the largest number of deaths reported in a single day since mid-January.

The situation isn’t much better for Wisconsinites.

The state reported over 3,500 new cases Monday which is the most recent reported data.

They have also reported 11 new COVID related deaths.
