DULUTH, MN -- The University of Minnesota Duluth has a new leader for their men's and women's cross country and track and field programs.
Karly Brautigam has been hired to take over the six individual programs (including indoor and outoor track and field) at UMD.
She bring six years of coaching experience at the NCAA DIII level with her, most recently at Macalaster College. She had an illustrious college running career at Wartburg College in Iowa.
"It takes many hands, and ultimately it's about building relationships. Everyone being on the same trajectory, and having the same vision of where we're headed as a community and as a team," said Brautigam.
She takes over for Laura Harmon, who had lead the program since 2018. For the full UMD Athletics release, click here.
