WATCH: Buck escapes hammock after police assistance

GRAND RAPIDS, MN– A deer managed to get stuck in a hammock last Tuesday morning.

Two Grand Rapids police officers responded to the scene.

They tried to calm the deer down to free it by placing a blanket over the deer’s head.

Once the buck was settled, Sergeant Andy Morgan held it down while Officer Justin Edmundson cut it loose.

Morgan said it took them about two minutes to free the buck.
