DULUTH, MN -- Duluth's College of St. Scholastica will begin requiring COVID-19 vaccines for students.
According to college spokespeople, the COVID shot will be added to the list of other immunizations students participating in in-person curricular and co-curricular activities at its Duluth, Health Science Center and St. Cloud campuses are required to get.
President Barbara McDonald previously shared the College’s intentions to pursue a vaccine requirement once FDA approval was granted.
Students must provide a copy of their immunization record to the College’s Student Health Service office by October 22, 2021.
On-campus vaccination clinics began on August 11 and will continue to be offered at the Duluth campus.
College spokespeople say they plan to share details about who may qualify for exemptions soon.
Anyone who is determined to be exempt will be required to get tested for COVID weekly.
