HERMANTOWN, MN -- The Hermantown to UMD hockey pipeline continued with yet another commitment on Tuesday.

Junior defenseman Ty Hanson announced his commitment to play division one men's hockey for the Bulldogs on Twitter.

Hanson joins fellow junior Zam Plante as the second Hermantown hockey player to commit to UMD this summer. Currently, there are three former Hawks already on UMD's roster (Blake Biondi, Darian Gotz, and Jesse Jacques).

Hanson tallied nine goals and 20 assists in his sophomore season at Hermantown.
