AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will continue to see partly cloudy skies and some hazy from smoke. Tonight we will see increasing clouds as a front pushes in from the north. After 10pm we will start to see showers and isolated thunderstorms move into I. Falls. Those showers and thunderstorms will move south and southeast through the region overnight. They will NOT be severe. Rain accumulation will be less than 0.2” for most folks. Lows will be in the 50’s and lower 60’s.
SATURDAY: Saturday we will see decreasing clouds in the morning, followed by some convective clouds in the afternoon. There will be a slight chance of a stray shower or two. Highs will be in the lower 80’s with breezy winds out of the northwest 10-15mph. Smoke will continue to be around all weekend, leading to poor/unhealthy air quality.
SUNDAY: Sunday we will have mostly sunny skies as high pressure sits over the region. Highs will be in the lower 70’s, so actually a bit cooler! Winds will be out of the NNE 5-10mph.
MONDAY: On Monday we will have partly cloudy skies. Highs will be in the upper 70’s with westerly winds.
