Ryan Suter has signed a four-year deal worth $14.6 million with the Dallas Stars. The veteran U.S.-born defenseman was recently bought out by the Minnesota Wild.
Suter was the first of many players to sign when NHL free agency opened.
Two-time Stanley Cup champion Blake Coleman was among the others to get a deal done early.
