Strong storms possible tomorrow night

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will continue to see partly sunny skies and a slight chance of some scattered showers. We will continue to see spotty shower chances into the overnight with partly clear skies. Lows will be in the 60’s and some 50’s. Winds will remain southeast 5-10mph.

FRIDAY: For Friday we will be tracking a front that will be sliding across North Dakota and eventually through our region. This will help ignite a line of showers and thunderstorms. There is a chance we could see a few severe storms that could produce damaging winds and large hail. So we will keep a close eye on these storms. They also could produce frequent lightning which could lead to wildfires. Highs will be in the mid-80’s with south winds 5-10mph.

SATURDAY: On Saturday we will have clearing skies to become mostly sunny! Highs will be in the upper 80’s and even some lower 90’s. Winds will be out of the northwest 10-15mph, so a bit breezy. There will be a little haze from smoke, but not very bad.

SUNDAY: Sunday we will see mostly sunny skies and should finally see a good break from wildfire smoke! Highs will be climbing into the mid-80’s with winds out of the WNW.
