DULUTH, MN -- A Duluth yoga studio is focused on restoring zen in the community after a year of COVID stress.

Full Circle Yoga is bringing people together for free meditation each week at the Enger Tower Zen Garden.

Their goal is to help yogis release any tension especially surrounding COVID-19.

Meditation guide Katrina Pierson sees the sessions as a way of giving back and hopes they will bring a renewed sense of calm.

"They'll walk away feeling refreshed in some way, maybe more present, more aware, and maybe they are able to set their burdens down for a little bit and just feel a sense of release," said Pierson.

Yoga studio leaders hope the peaceful atmosphere brings participants serenity as they ground into nature, connect, and re-charge.

Participants should bring a cushion or blanket and dress in layers with the potential of chilly temps.

Classes run through the summer every Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
