Duluth Library receives the gift of sight through Lions Club donation

DULUTH, MN-- Sometimes it's the little things that mean the most, and a recent donation to the Duluth Public Library is one example.

The Duluth Lions Club donated eyeglasses for older folks who struggle with their vision.

They hope this will help people have an easier time browsing for books, using computers, or any of the many other resources the library provides.

Library staff told us they offer help on the computers and if people can't see the screen, the glasses can be a handy tool to improve one's computer work.

"It's a small thing, but it could improve someone's life quite a bit," said library technician Gina Temple-Rhodes.

People can have the option of keeping their glasses.

The free glasses will be available at all three library branches.
