Showers and thunderstorms today and tomorrow

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will have partly sunny skies and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. The best chance of thunderstorms will be south of the Ports through East-Central MN and into Northern WI and the U.P.. Some storms could become severe and produce large hail and damaging winds. The storms chances will diminish into the evening as we cool. Lows will be in the 40’s and 50’s tonight as cooler air moves in.

FRIDAY: On Friday we will have cloudy skies and a chance of more showers and thunderstorms. A cold front will sweep across the region to bring widespread rain and thunder from west to east in the afternoon. The threat of severe weather is little to none right now, but we will have to see how the environment sets up tomorrow so stay tuned. Highs will be held to the 50’s and 60’s by the lake. Inland 70’s, and some 80’s.

SATURDAY: For Saturday high pressure rolls in to bring mostly sunny skies. Highs will be back into the lower 80’s with winds out of the WNW 5-15mph.

SUNDAY: Sunday we will have partly cloudy skies. There will be a slight chance of showers in the afternoon as a little wave in the jetstream passes. Highs will be in the lower 80’s with southwest winds.
