PARK RAPIDS, MN -- Enbridge leaders said Wednesday they plan to seek full prosecution after protesters reportedly vandalized equipment at a Line 3 construction site this week.
Photos show slashed tires on contractors' equipment near Park Rapids, MN.
Enbridge leaders said construction trailers were also broken into and environmental safeguards, set up to control erosion and protect water quality, were destroyed.
Thousands of people gathered at that site early this week hoping to stop construction on the pipeline they believe could threaten the environment.
No word on how many were arrested.
Enbridge leaders point to the years of regulatory review and the final greenlight they got from the state to start construction.
