Coming home: Remains of Minnesotan killed at Pearl Harbor identified

AKELEY, MN-- The remains of a northern Minnesotan who died during the attack on Pearl Harbor have been identified.

Navy Fireman 1st Class Neal Todd was 22 when he went down with the USS Oklahoma.

He was one of 429 crewman who died on the Oklahoma alone.

Todd is from Akeley, Minnesota, which is near Leach Lake.

His remains were buried in Hawaii with others from the attack until 2015, when a new effort was made to identify them.

Thanks to DNA anlysis, Todd is coming home.

He'll be buried next month in Akeley.
