AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will continue to see light scattered rain showers in the Ports with some moderate rainfall bands up the North Shore. Tonight we will see cold air wrap into the system which will turn rain to snow for some. Looks like we will see some snow/mix first in Central/North Central Minnesota, then sliding east and south into tomorrow morning. Accumulations will be an inch or less through the morning.
TUESDAY: Cold air continues to wrap into the low, which will bring rain and snow mix for the region. Best chance of snow accumulations for the Ports will be in the morning. Highs will be in the mid-30’s with winds out of the southwest. Snow and mix will continue into Tuesday night.
WEDNESDAY: On Wednesday the system begins to depart the region which will bring the rain and snow to an end. There could be some lingering flurries, but nothing left should accumulate. Highs will be in the mid-40’s with winds out of the NNW 5-10mph.
THURSDAY: On Thursday we will see mostly cloudy skies. Highs will be able to climb into the upper 40’s and lower 50’s though. Winds will be out of the north 5-10mph.
