ST. PAUL, MN-- In just a couple of weeks, Minnesota has administered another million doses of the COVID vaccine to residents in the state.
In fact, as of Thursday, Gov. Walz said a total of more than three million COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered.
Governor Walz is hopeful of the continued progress toward ending this pandemic.
“This was our fastest million doses yet," Gov. Walz said.
Adding, "spring has arrived, normalcy is near."
State leaders continue to urge the importance of protecting others by keeping the mask up, social distancing, and getting tested when needed.
The state announced the first million doses administered on Feb. 19.
According to officials, Minnesota steadily moves into the top 10 states for people with completed series administered per 100,000.
