Adrian blanks CSS women in Slaats Cup Finals opener

DULUTH, Minn. -- Adrian College opened up the NCHA Slaats Cup Finals with a 3-0 win over St. Scholastica.

It's the third consecutive season that the Saints and Bulldogs face off in the conference finals. Adrian has won the past five straight Slaats Cup titles.

Game two is Saturday afternoon at MARS Lakeview Arena, where the Saints will look to force a winner-take-all mini-game.
