UMD women fall short in Frozen Four semifinals against Northeastern

ERIE, Pa. -- The UMD women's hockey season is over after a loss to Northeastern in the NCAA Frozen Four semifinals.

#1 Northeastern came back for a 3-2 win in overtime. The Bulldogs held a 2-0 lead heading into the third period, on goals from Mannon McMahon and Taylor Anderson.

The Huskies rallied with two goals in the third period, and an overtime winner from Skylar Fontaine. Northeastern advances to the National Championship game.
