Record warmth followed by accumulating snow

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

TONIGHT: Temperatures will stay very mild this evening. Temperatures will remain above freezing thanks to a gusty south wind and increasing clouds. Forecasting a low of 35° tonight.

TUESDAY: Tuesday will be the beautiful day before realty sets in. Even though skies will be mostly cloudy temperatures will still get into the mid 50s. I'm forecasting a high of 55° in Duluth with the old record being 54°. Take advantage of this because it will come to an end fast.

WEDNESDAY: Our next low pressure system system arrives during the daytime hours Wednesday. The track right now is for mostly snow north of Duluth and mainly rain south and east of the Twin Ports. My snow map shows the rain snow line go right through Duluth, but if it shifts a few miles north or south, snow amounts will have to be adjusted.

EXTENDED FORECAST: This system will drag down some cooler air for Thursday and Friday. Highs in the 30s to end the week.
