Wisconsin DMV extends license renewal for drivers age 60 and over

WISCONSIN-- If you are 60 and over and in need of renewing your driver's license, the deadline has been extended.

With the continued health risks from COVID-19, the state is extending the renewal deadline to May 21, 2021.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation’s Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) estimates this extension impacts 62,000 Wisconsin drivers.

Details and other resources for aging drivers are available here.

All vehicle-related services are online (e.g. renew registration, get title and plates).
