AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will be seeing increasing clouds ahead of our next snow chance. We will see a 50% chance of some wintry mix between 4pm and 8pm. Then an 80% chance of snow after 8pm. Models have continued to back off on snow totals, so looks like totals will be on the lower end of the forecast. We will see a swath of 1-3” across Central-Minnesota and into northern Wisconsin. There will be a patch of 2-5” for Iron and Gogebic counties as well. An inch or less for the Iron Range and Arrowhead. Lows will be in the teens and 20’s with winds out of the north 5-10mph.
WEDNESDAY: Expect roads to be slippery in the morning. We will see decreasing clouds though, so that should help clear up the roads in the afternoon. Highs will be around 30° with northwest winds 5-15mph.
THURSDAY: Thursday we will have partly cloudy to partly sunny skies. Highs will be in the upper 20’s with winds out of the northwest 5-10mph.
FRIDAY: On Friday we will see mostly cloudy skies and a 30% chance of some scattered light snow showers. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30’s, so some mix will be possible too. Winds will be out of the SSW 5-15mph.
