Hughes’ goal with 3 seconds left propels #7 UMD to weekend sweep of Minnesota State

DULUTH, MN. -- Gabbie Hughes goal with 3 seconds left would lift the UMD women's hockey team to a 4-3 victory over Minnesota State Mankato.

Hughes would score twice for the Bulldogs, and Taylor Anderson, Kasundra Betinol also scored for UMD. Emma Soderberg would make 28 saves.

UMD will host the Badgers next weekend at AMSOIL for a shot at the 2020-21 WCHA regular-season title.
