DULUTH, MN -- A new show is set to premiere Tuesday night on KBJR 6 and while you won't see him in front of the camera, a Duluth native has a big role in the production.
Saturday Night Live star Kenan Thompson stars in the show named "Kenan".
The show follows a widowed single dad trying to raise his two young daughters while juggling a high profile job as the host of a morning show.
The show's assistant director, Van Hayden, grew up in Duluth and attended Denfeld High School.
In his role, Hayden serves as a liaison between the director and crew members.
Hayden, who now calls Minneapolis home, has worked with Spike Lee, Kevin Hart and many other household names.
