SUPERIOR, WI -- The rapid COVID-19 testing site at the University of Wisconsin-Superior will reopen.
The site closed down at the beginning of February after operating since fall 2020.
But Tuesday, the university announced the testing site will continue operating starting Monday, Feb. 15.
“The Wisconsin Department of Health Services completed an assessment of testing facilities statewide,” said Harry Anderson, Dean of Students. “Based on their findings and our proven ability to conduct mass testing in a safe, efficient and friendly environment, DHS requested that we reopen our COVID-19 community testing site. We are honored to continue serving our community in this capacity and to help the state meet its COVID-19 testing needs.”
Testing will be held at Marcovich Wellness Center.
It will be offered from 2-6 p.m., Monday through Friday.
