Tracking snow for the weekend

AFTERNOON/TONIGHT: This afternoon we will be seeing partly cloudy skies. Tonight there will be increasing clouds to become mostly cloudy. Lows will be in the single digits above zero for the most part, but a few folks could slip just below zero. Winds will be out o the WSW 4-8mph, keeping wind chills in the single digits and some teens below zero.

SATURDAY: Most of Saturday will be pretty quiet. We will see partly sunny skies mid-day with highs in the upper teens and lower 20’s. Winds will be out of the SSW 5-10mph. After 5pm we will see snow moving in from the southwest. The snow will continue through the overnight for our region. New accumulations will be between 1-3” for most folks.

SUNDAY: Sunday morning there will be a slight chance of some morning snow showers. Then, there will be some clearing in the skies to become partly sunny. Highs will be in the upper teens with winds out of the north 5-10mph. Some lake flurries will be possible for the South Shore.

MONDAY: High pressure will sit to our north early next week to bring quiet conditions. Highs will be in the upper teens on Monday with winds continuing out of the north.
