DULUTH, MN -- Duluth's Ursa Minor Brewing and local band "One Less Guest" have come together to raise funds for a music center that has struggled during the pandemic.

Sacred Heart Music Center has not been able to hold in-person events during the pandemic, so they need help paying for the essentials throughout the winter.

Ursa Minor's and One Less Guest's fundraiser is called "Forbidden Fruit"

Ursa Minor is brewing a special sour beer with all of the proceeds benefitting Sacred Heart.

One Less Guest is planning a livestream event on January 30 to raise funds.

All in all, the two are hoping to raise raise $20,000.

Sacred Heart leaders say they're thankful for the help, and hope it will help them keep going.

"We need money to heat this place and keep it up. It's a 19th century building so it needs a lot of maintenance and there are always issue that occur with old buildings like this," said Mark Nicklawski.

The sour brew, called Forbidden Fruit, will be on tap starting Friday.

The live stream concert will happen on January 30th.
