DULUTH, MN -- Glensheen Mansion will reopen to the public and it's well known holiday spirit will be sticking around a little bit longer.
Officials with the mansion announced their plans to reopen by this weekend.
As for their holiday decoration display, the historic mansion will be keeping the lights on through the month of March!
They call it, "The Never Ending Christmas."
The staff made the decision after asking the community for feedback on their Facebook page.
Director of Glensheen, Dan Hartman said seeing Christmas at the Glensheen is a Northland tradition.
"I think for a lot of our guests that come to 'Glensheen Christmas' is that big season for them. For many families in Duluth, this is their annual stop and a lot of folks miss that," said Hartman.
With more free time for the mansion staff, Hartman said guests will have the chance to experience a few new additions when visiting the mansion.
