DULUTH, MN -- Registration for all of Grandma's Marathon 2021 major races is officially full.
The full and half marathons both have 4,000 entries, while the 5K has 1,500. Those capacities are currently limited from their usual totals due to COVID-19 concerns.
There are still a few spots remaining for charity fundraising if runners are still hoping for an in-person spot at the 2021 races.
"Our charity partners are a great option," said Marketing and PR Director Zach Schneider.
"You sign up through one of our 15 charity partners to be partnered with them. You fundraise from now until race day, and if you hit your mark fundraising, you get a guaranteed free entry into the event of your choice in 2021, so it could be the full, the half, or the 5K."

Schneider also says they are currently considering increasing the registration capacity even further, but will do so after consulting with local public health officials. That decision could come within the next month.
Runners will also have the option of running the race virtually in 2021, as they did in 2020. Race day is scheduled for Saturday, June 19, 2021.
