Superior schools to stay with distance learning until the end of the year

SUPERIOR, WI -- Superior schools will stay with the distance learning model through the end of the year.

The district announced the decision in a news release Wednesday afternoon.

This comes as Douglas County has climbed to 113 cases per 10,000 residents within the most recent two week period.

Superintendent Amy Starzecki says the administration and the school board will consider changes to the virtual learning plan if rates stay high.

Free meals for school children under the age of 18 will continue.

The school district of Superior Food Service & Transportation Departments will continue to offer the service via curbside pickup, mobile sites, and rural bus routes in our community. Click here for the most up to date information on meal service locations and times.
