TONIGHT: The big story tonight is the strong winds. I'm forecasting gusts over 40 mph. These strong northwest winds could pop up a few snow showers in Minnesota, and a few inches of lake effect will fall along the eastern south shore. Temperatures will be cold, Lows in the low and mid 20s. If you plan on trick or treating make sure to bundle up and wear something that will block the wind.
SUNDAY: Cold and windy. Highs will only get into the upper 20s and low 30s. Winds will be sustained from 20-30 mph with gust as high as 40. A few flurries possible in the morning hours, with clearing in the afternoon.
MONDAY: The warming trend begins. Temperatures will get into the mid 40s with partly cloudy skies. Winds out of the west 10-15 mph.
EXTENDED FORECAST: I mentioned that Monday is the first day of the warming trend, this is because I am forecasting temps to get into the 50s Tuesday, and the potential for temps near 60° mid next week.
