Happy Sunday! Today's weather trivia is about more winter weather in October?

The correct answer is B. 1999.

2016 was the last year we only saw a trace of snow, but we have to go all the way back to 1999 to get an October without any snow flakes. Obviously this year is abnormal with over a foot of snow, but just a few years ago (2017) we saw over 10 inches. In 1933 we saw the record of 14 inches. For snow recorded at the airport, this year actually broke the record.

Here are the results.

A. 1963 - 11% of the vote

B. 1999 - 42% of the vote.

C. 2016 - 47% of the vote.

Thank you to everyone who participated, weather trivia we be back next weekend, and I'm planning to do hurricane related questions!
