TODAY: Another low pressure system brings accumulating snowfall to much of the Northland today. Snow has already moved into the southwestern portions of our region as of 4:00 AM this morning. Snow will reach Duluth likely sometime between 8 and 10 AM. Rain could also mix in with the snow in NW Wisconsin throughout the early afternoon. The highest snowfall totals will be along a line from Aitkin to Duluth to just south of Ashland. The bulk of the snowfall wraps up late tonight into early Friday morning, but lingering lake effect snow is possible along the South Shore of Wisconsin through the early afternoon on Friday.
FRIDAY: We settle down into the day on Friday with lingering flurries possible in the morning. Highs reach the mid 30's with mostly cloudy skies. Weaker high pressure brings partly cloudy skies with lows dipping into the teens and single digits.
SATURDAY: Highs reach the low to mid 30's with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lows dip down to the 20's and teens. A slight chance for snow moves in overnight as well.
