Another messy system on the way, here’s the details!

TODAY: Today's a good day to take a breath!! We'll see calm conditions today with mostly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 30's. Some lingering flurries are possible in the morning hours. Lows dip down into the 20's with mostly cloudy skies.

THURSDAY: Another low pressure system rolls through the region on Thursday. Forecasting this system has been challenging as temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday's system, making it difficult to forecast where the rain/snow line will exactly lie. Models are in agreement for the most part, but the GFS puts the accumulating snow over NW WI. I'm going with the model consensus, which places the bulk of accumulating snow in northern and western MN. Snow begins Thursday morning here in Duluth. We should see some rain mix in during the afternoon hours, transitioning back to snow for the evening and overnight hours. This forecast could definitely change as we get closer, so check back for updates!

FRIDAY: Snow eventually wraps up Friday morning with lingering flurries possible heading into the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid to upper 30's with mostly cloudy skies. High pressure brings partly cloudy skies overnight, bringing lows in the 20's and teens, with a couple single digits possible in northern MN.

CATCH KBJR 6 FROM 5-7 AM AND AGAIN AT NOON FOR MY FULL FORECAST!

Have a great day!
