DULUTH, MN -- The City of Duluth launched a new campaign Monday.

The social media initiative is aimed at supporting local businesses during the pandemic.

The Locally Rooted series will include a photo of a business owner, a quote, and a link to the business's social media pages.

The campaign features restaurants, hotels, and retail stores.

Two businesses will be showcased each week.

Bailey Builds, a Duluth couple who make mosaic art out of wood, will be the first business owners featured.

Organizers hope it will remind people their neighbors run these shops.

The Locally Rooted campaign began on Monday, October 19, and will run through the Summer of 2021.

Businesses interested in being featured can email communications@duluthmn.gov.
