CLOQUET, Minn. -- As long as Geno Uhrbom has been a member of the Greenwawy/Nashwauk/Keewatin (GNK) cross country team, he's been the section 7A champion.

The senior claimed his fourth straight section title with a time of 15:58 at Cloquet Country Club.

"Races like these, sections, state, the regionals which aren't happening this year, I always gear up for those, and try to run my fastest, hardest races, at these kind of meets. So it felt good, I knew I was prepared coming into here, I felt prepared right off the start," said Uhrbom.

"Years ago, I thought to myself, I'm going to win this race every single year until I graduate. So that was the plan, and it worked out."

Virginia sophomore Cameron Stocke came in second with a time of 16:25.

Pequot Lakes brought home the boys team title, with all of their finishers in the top 30. GNK was close behind in second, followed by Virginia and Ely.
