DULUTH, MN -- With all facets of the theatre world struggling from the global impacts of COVID-19, the show is still going at the Univerity of Minnesota-Duluth.

UMD Theatre is getting ready to present William Shakespeare's "Henry V" from Sept. 24-27 and Sept. 30 -Oct. 3.

The production has been moved to an outdoor setting while following COVID-19 safety guidelines, performing in the newly renovated Ordean Courtyard.

Department leaders have arranged the safe, socially-distanced spacing of pods that can accommodate 1–3 household members, along with a few larger areas that can hold up to 6 people.

UMD Theatre is asking cast, crew, and patrons to all wear masks for the sake of an abundant amount of caution for the safety of everyone involved.

Right now, all performances are currently at capacity, but walk-ups will be accommodated if space is available.

The plan is for all future UMD performances to be free and either outdoors or online until it has been determined safe for large groups to gather indoors.
