TWO HARBORS, MN -- The Two Harbors community is taking this week to support their law enforcement officers.
The Post 109 Honor Guard alongside Two Harbors residents, drove around the city honking their horns in support of local police.
Judy Anderson, who is the assistant chief of police's mother, came up with the idea for this week-long appreciation.
She said the past few months have been hard for officers, and she wants to put a smile on their faces.
"We are having a treat every day for them, and we are letting them know that their community supports them, and thanks them, and we wanted to honor them today," said Anderson.
After the parade, a local bank donated sandwiches to the officers, and this morning one community member made them cinnamon rolls.
