DULUTH, MN -- A Duluth business too time Tuesday to celebrate its workers who provide a key resource, especially during the pandemic.
Trillium Services supports people with disabilities throughout the Northland.
During "Direct Service Professionals Appreciation" week, Trillium leaders say they wanted to honor their staff who have gone above and beyond helping those who needed it most during this challenging time.
Trillium says these employees have been critical during the pandemic.
"They really are heros," Brian Annis, executive director of Trillium Services, said. "They do a lot of hard work to help improve the lives of those with disabilities and ensure there saftey especially during the age of COVID here so they really are heros. They are basically the blood that pumps through agencies like ours, like Trillium Services and Trillium Works."
Trillium workers also held signs supporting all Direct Service Professionals.
Trillium employees were treated to food and free merchandise.
