The video conferencing app that helps connect people and businesses is having issues in certain areas around the world.
According to its website, Zoom seemed to have started having technical difficulties Monday morning on the East Coast and continues to have operational issues as the day goes on.
"We have received reports of users being unable to visit the Zoom website (zoom.us) and unable to start and join Zoom Meetings and Webinars," the company said in a statement Monday morning. "We are currently investigating and will provide updates as we have them."
In Atlanta, the outage affected public school students on their first day back.
Atlanta Public Schools sent out a tweet saying it was working to resolve the problem.
CNN also reported that the Down Detector, which tracks internet outages, shows users in the United Kingdom were also experiencing issues.
In an updated note, Zoom said it had identified the issue that was causing users difficulties and it was working on a fix.
